Vivienne Jolie-Pitt Snags a Role in Maleficent

Because she's Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter, and because her mom is already the star of the film, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt will have a small role in Maleficent. Disney's Maleficent has Jolie playing Sleeping Beauty's evil nemesis in a drama set before the events in the classic fairy tale. Directed by Robert Stromberg, Maleficent also stars Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Sharlto Copley, Imelda Staunton, and Miranda Richardson.

According to the studio, 4 year old Vivienne will be playing a younger version of Elle Fanning's Princess Aurora. There's no word on whether Vivienne's twin brother, Knox, will also find himself in front of the cameras for Maleficent.

Disney's aiming for a 2014 release date.
