Selena Gomez Joins Parental Guidance Suggested

Selena Gomez is continuing her feature film acting career with a starring role in Parental Guidance Suggested, an indie comedy to be directed by Tim Garrick. Garrick's also handled scripting duties, adapting Ric Browde's book While I'm Dead... Feed the Dog for the screen. And speaking of Browde, his website's hilarious. You've got to admire an author who proclaims his novel to be "the book J.D. Salinger would have written if he had a sense of humor" and one who promises if you buy his book, you will achieve immortality.

The cast of Parental Guidance Suggested also includes Nat Wolff (Naked Brothers Band), Austin Stowell (The Secret Life of the American Teenager), Dylan McDermott, and Cary Elwes.

Gomez recently completed work on Spring Breakers with Vanessa Hudgens and James Franco, and in November she'll be heard as the voice of 'Mavis' in Hotel Transylvania.
