Keira Knightley plays Penny, a free-spirited Brit who finds herself trapped in America as the world prepares for annihilation, in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. With an asteroid just a couple of weeks away from wiping out our planet, Penny's last shot at finding someone willing to fly her to England comes when she volunteers to help her neighbor, Dodge (Steve Carell), try to connect with the love of his life (aka 'the one who got away). And while this doesn't sound like the set-up for one of the sweetest comedies of the year, Seeking a Friend at the End of the World is surprising funny as well as touching.
