Universal's just unveiled the first trailer for the musical epic, Les Misérables, coming to theaters in December (along with the other Oscar fodder). This teaser provides us with our first taste of how Anne Hathaway is going to handle singing duties in her role as Fantine, with the trailer showcasing one of the musical's most popular numbers: "I Dreamed a Dream."

Hathaway's Les Miserables co-stars include Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Russell Crowe as Javert, Amanda Seyfried as Cosette, and Eddie Redmayne as Marius. Oscar winner Tom Hooper (The King's Speech) directed the musical based on the stage play by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg from Victor Hugo's classic novel.
