Sandra BullockOscar nominee Melissa McCarthy and Oscar winner Sandra Bullock will be playing cop in Bridesmaids director Paul Feig's upcoming buddy movie. The film, which currently is untitled, is set up at Fox, with Katie Dippold (Parks and Recreation) working on the script.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedy will have Bullock playing an FBI agent (as she did in Miss Congeniality) and McCarthy as a Boston cop. THR says it's looking like Feig, McCarthy and Bullock could fit this into their busy schedules this summer.

Bullock will next be seen in Gravity, the sci-fi thriller directed by Alfonso Cuaron. Warner Bros recently bumbed its release date back to 2013. McCarthy has Judd Apatow's This is 40 hitting theaters on December 21, 2012. She's currently at work on Seth Gordon's Identity Thief with Jason Bateman and Jon Favreau.
