Will Ferrell will be telling San Diego to stay classy again as anchorman Ron Burgundy. According to the bit Ferrell did - in character as Burgundy, complete with a jazz flute - on Conan O'Brien's show March 28th, he'll be returning to the anchor chair for a sequel to the 2004 hit comedy, Anchorman. "It's official - there will be a sequel," said Ferrell.
Ferrell's Anchorman co-stars Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, and David Koechner are also expected back for the Anchorman sequel to be directed by Adam McKay from a script by McKay and Ferrell. Paramount is eyeing a 2013 release.
