Catherine Hardwicke directed Evan Rachel Wood, a stand-out in George Clooney's The Ides of March, in the 2003 dramatic coming-of-age film Thirteen and now the pair are getting back together for Plush. The erotic thriller, co-written by Hardwicke and Artie Nelson, is expected to be Hardwicke's next project.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hardwicke's Plush is set in the Los Angeles music world. And in an interview with YHN during Sundance, Hardwicke described Plush as "a really wild, erotic thriller" that she'll be doing with Evan next. She went on to say it will be "super sexy about a character who's really pushing the edge, pushing the envelope. That's Evan's character."
In addition to Thirteen, Hardwicke directed Lords of Dogtown, The Nativity Story, the first Twilight film, and Red Riding Hood.
