So, what's happening with that 24 movie we keep hearing about? According to Kiefer Sutherland - someone who should know the scoop better than practically anyone else on the planet - 24 the movie is definitely moving forward this year. Sutherland spoke about the project at Fox's TCA (Television Critics Association) winter press tour panel in LA this past weekend, providing the group with this short-but-sweet update on 24: "Hopefully we will be shooting by the end of April, beginning of May." The series ended in 2010 but a movie version featuring Sutherland in action as Jack Bauer had been in the works for years prior to the show's final episode. And at the TCA event, Sutherland also clarified the 24 time line. Sutherland said the film will be "relatively a direct continuation. We're talking maybe six months from the end of that episode." The TCA event also proved to be the place to party down - or at least get Party Down movie news. The canceled comedy series that ran on Starz from 2009 to 2010 is also going to be making the jump to the big screen. Megan Mullally told reporters she will be involved in the Party Down movie which is currently being written by John Enbom. She also confirmed almost all of the stars of the show will be involved (she wasn't sure about Jane Lynch, according to The Hollywood Reporter).
Filming could begin as early as this summer on the Party Down movie.
