Relativity Media's remake of The Crow has lost its leading actor. The Hollywood Reporter says Bradley Cooper has left The Crow over scheduling conflicts between Relativity's film and Legendary Pictures' Paradise Lost.
Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, writer/director of 28 Weeks Later, is directing the remake which had Cooper set to take on the role of Eric Draven, the character played by Brandon Lee in the 1993 version. Lee died while working on that film as the result of an accident with a prop gun. According to THR, Mark Wahlberg and Channing Tatum are rumored to be in the running to step into the starring role.
Cooper was most recently seen on the big screen in the R-rated comedy The Hangover Part 2. He's currently shooting The Place Beyond the Pines with Ryan Gosling.
