Summit Entertainment has revealed which films they'll be taking to the San Diego Comic Con in late July and, as expected, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 will be one of the movies promoted at the sold-out event. Summit's Breaking Dawn panel will take place on July 21st at Hall H, which only means something if you've been to the Con before (or some other event at the San Diego Convention Center). Never before shown footage will be screened and cast members will take part in a Q&A. They haven't said who, but Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Kristen Stewart have made the trip to San Diego before.
Summit will also promote Paul W.S. Anderson's 3D action film The Three Musketeers and Timur Bekmambetov's alien invasion thriller The Darkest Hour. There's no word yet on who will be on hand from either of those films.
Comic Con attendees will also have the chance to stop by Summit's booth on the exhibit floor to "speak live via phone with select actors and filmmakers from Summit films." And authors from three of the books Summit's currently in the process of developing as feature films will be present to sign autographs:
- Erin Morgenstern, the author of Night Circus
- Isaac Marion, the author of Warm Bodies (Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer are starring in the film adaptation)
- Veronica Roth, the author of Divergent
