The graphic novel Bullet to the Head is the source material for Sylvester Stallone's upcoming action thriller, once known as Headshot but now just referred to as "untitled action thriller." Walter Hill will be directing and Joel Silver's Dark Castle Entertainment is teaming up with IM Global and After Dark Films to produce the film. Warner Bros will distribute the action film domestically.

In a press release announcing the project, Silver said, "Sylvester Stallone is an iconic action star the world over and I'm thrilled to be working with him again. I look forward to joining with IM Global and After Dark in bringing this exciting new story to the screen."
The official synopsis: "The story of a New Orleans hitman (Stallone) and a New York City cop who form an alliance to bring down the killers of their respective partners." Sung Kang (Fast Five) will play a key supporting role in the film which is set to begin shooting this month in Louisiana.
