The Twilight Awards - or the MTV Movie Awards, if you want to go by the official title - first award of the 2011 show went to Robert Pattinson, which, of course, made the audience scream. Pattinson earned the Best Male Performance award for his work in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, beating out his Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner for the trophy. Friends with Benefits co-stars Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis got a little handsy while reading off the nominees (we're talking a little boob and penis grabbing, but it is MTV), but Pattinson kept his acceptance speech pretty G-rated.
Pattinson took to the stage and said he really didn't think he was going to win. "Zac Efron was crying and stuff in that little clip," explained Pattinson about why he thought he might not nab the award this year. He went on to say, "Thanks very much. I'm consistently surprised, so yeah thank you very much. Thanks for showing your support to the movies. I'll see you all again next year."
