Are the Oscars Over Yet?

The 2011 Oscars could possibly be the worst Oscar show ever. It's as happy-happy as can be, but the cost for going as tame as possible seems to be that anything slightly entertaining has been taken out of the show. And the state of the art videos shown behind the presenters that were so hyped prior to the Oscars look like any other award show's video segments.

Anne Hathaway and James Franco may be fine actors, but as hosts they leave a lot to be desired.

My verdict halfway through? The 2011 Oscars are a massive train wreck. Not even Billy Crystal's able to save this turkey.

Bob Hope on video for the remainder of the show would be better than these 2 dunces.

I just can’t believe how awful the entire production is. I say bring back Hugh Jackman or sign up Robert Downey Jr to MC. He’d at least make it lively.

Best part was Crystal & Hope! Lame attempt at humor.

I’m actually enjoying it. No dance numbers so far. I like Hathaway and Franco.

Love the Modern Family commercials. Funnier than the show. I am agreeing with the picks though.

I am enjoying the Oscars. Yes, they are keeping it very upbeat. I quite like it. Sounds like Rebecca should just turn in for the night.

I will not remember this Oscar show for it’s hosts or originality. So thinking of it that way it’s one of the most disappointing Oscar presentations I’ve ever seen.

That was most definitely the worst Oscar show I’ve ever seen. Boring, zero surprises, and just overall awkward.

Two words cringe-worthy. Kirk Douglas was painful as was the early banter between, well, everyone. Leveled off since but still boring.
