Willow Smith May Star in Annie Remake

His son, Jaden, starred in the reboot of the Karate Kid franchise and now his daughter, Willow, could be landing a remake of her own. Will Smith's talking to Sony about the possibility of doing another Annie film, with Willow (have you watched her "Whip My Hair" video?) taking on the lead role according to Variety.

No real details on this Annie have been revealed yet (discussions are still in a very preliminary stage), and Variety reports that everyone's keeping mum on whether this will be a modern day take on the story.

Meanwhile Karate Kid star Jaden Smith is working with M Night Shyamalan on One Thousand A.E., a project Shyamalan's on board to direct but not write. A sequel to Karate Kid is also in the works.
