Alec Baldwin and Jennifer Lopez admired each other and then had the honor of handing out the award for Best Original Song to Diane Warren for "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me" from Burlesque. Warren picked up her first win (after 5 nominations) and thanked Cher for being an 'eternal bad-ass' and fighting to get the song in the film. Warren couldn't read her own writing, but was able to get to the part of dedicating the award to deceased publicist Ronni Chasen.Next up, Best Original Score. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross won for their work on The Social Network (first wins and first nominations for the pair). Their speech was very toned down, unemotional, and straight to the point.
