Chris Miller and Phil Lord photoCloudy with a Chance of Meatballs directing duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller may be making room on their schedule for Disney's Bob the Musical, so says The Hollywood Reporter. If their deal goes through, Miller and Lord would likely shoot Bob the Musical after wrapping up 21 Jump Street. Channing Tatum just signed up to star opposite Jonah Hill in the movie version of the '80s 21 Jump Street series, and filming on the Columbia Pictures project is supposed to begin early next year.

Bob the Musical's gone through a few writers (Mike Bender, John August, Lowell Ganz, Babaloo Mandel, Jon Lucas, Scott Moore) and a couple of directors (Mark Waters, Adam Shankman) on its journey to the big screen, and if Miller and Lord sign up, they will also be bringing in a new writer to finesse the script, according to THR.

The story follows an ordinary guy who, after getting hit on the head, starts to hear the "inner song" in people's hearts. Composer Marc Shaiman (South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut, Hairspray) is writing the music and lyrics.
