The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford team of Brad Pitt and director Andrew Dominick are getting back together for another film. Their next project: Cogan's Trade, a comedy - according to The Hollywood Reporter - about an enforcer who "investigates a heist that takes place during a high stakes poker game under protection of the mob." Pitt will take on the title character and Dominick may be filling other roles with actors from Assassination of Jesse James. Also mentioned as possibly being asked to join Cogan's Trade are Mark Ruffalo (who'll be starting work on The Avengers early next year) and Javier Bardem (recently seen in Eat Pray Love).
In addition to starring in the film, Pitt and his Plan B banner will be producing Cogan's Trade.
Pitt will next be heard but not seen voicing the part of Metro Man in Megamind and recently completed work on Moneyball for director Bennett Miller (Capote).
