Last weekend moviegoers had four new wide releases to choose from, with The Town winding up as the most popular film of the batch. This weekend's also loaded with new movies, each targeting a different demographic. Hoping to take down The Town by fighting drama with drama is 20th Century Fox with the return of Michael Douglas as Gordon Gekko in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (which, being a classic rock fan, I always want to type as Rust Never Sleeps). Meanwhile Warner Bros is offering up the first animated film from the guy behind Dawn of the Dead, 300, and Watchmen with its 3-D animated owl pic Legend of the Guardians. And Disney's looking to capture the female audience with the comedy You Again starring Kristen Bell and Odette Yustman as high school enemies forced back together when Yustman gets engaged to Bell's brother. In limited release, Ryan Reynolds finds himself buried in a coffin in the intense, appropriately named thriller Buried.
