David Wenham provides the voice of a funny little owl named digger while Sam Neill gets to help bring Allomere, a burly warrior owl, to life on the big screen in Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. Based on the bestselling books by Kathryn Lasky and directed by Zack Snyder, Legend of the Guardians is owl-centric, with just two or three other types of creatures putting in brief appearances. With all the owls to choose from, Neill's very happy to have been able to voice Allomere rather than a character like Wenham's. When I asked Neill at the film's world premiere why he liked his owl, Neill replied, "He's a big, bad pompous bad-ass owl who wants to rule the world, you know? Those are the best kind of owls. [David Wenham] plays a cute, sort of...kind of a cute owl. Who wants to be cute?"Check out what else Wenham and Neill had to say while at the world premiere in Hollywood:
