Director Jon Favreau's currently at work on Cowboys and Aliens, a mash-up of the sci-fi and Western genres starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford. Favreau is one of the most savvy filmmakers in the business when it comes to promoting his films at Comic Con, and he didn't disappoint fans this year with his Cowboys and Aliens presentation. Favreau and Universal Pictures brought Craig, Ford, Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde and Adam Beach to San Diego to talk about the film, and in addition to doing a Q&A with comic book fans, Favreau answered a few of my questions regarding the weird mix of genres."A Western is the genre that every filmmaker wants to do, and typically since the mid-'70s people have done Westerns more on an independent scale.
