Sony announced The Green Hornet's getting pushed back from its December 2010 release date to January 14, 2011 in order for the film to be converted to 3-D. It's just the latest in a series of moves for Green Hornet, which has bounced around the release schedule ever since the project was first announced. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sony's Rory Bruer said that while director Michel Gondry didn't use 3-D cameras, the film's conversion will be of high quality. "[Gondry] always kind of shot it having the possibility of having it in 3D in mind. It's got a lot of depth and amazing visuals," stated Bruer.
The delay in the release of The Green Hornet means Screen Gems has to push Priest (a vampire film with a Western flair to it) back to March.
