Gossip Girl star Blake Lively started off 2010 by landing the lead female role in one of 2011's most anticipated films, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Lively has signed up to play Carol Ferris in Green Lantern starring Ryan Reynolds and to be directed by Martin Campbell (The Legend of Zorro, Casino Royale).
