
James Cameron and 20th Century Fox took a chance casting an unknown in the lead in
Avatar, the studio's biggest budgeted film to date, and it seems to be paying off. Since finishing up
Avatar, Worthington's earned positive reviews for his starring role in
Terminator Salvation opposite
Christian Bale and has wrapped work on one of 2010's highly anticipated films,
Clash of the Titans. The Australian actor, who literally packed up or sold off all of his possessions and lived out of two bags while working on
Avatar, has quickly become the new go-to guy for action-heavy movies.
Worthington, James Cameron, and the
Avatar cast have been trotting around the globe promoting the film, even showing up at Grauman's Chinese Theater for the film's Hollywood premiere. On the blue carpet, Worthington and Joel David Moore talked about working on this groundbreaking performance capture film:
