Zoe Saldana is not a warrior, she's definitely not blue, and she's nowhere close to being 9' tall. But she's all that and more in James Cameron's action epic, Avatar. Saldana's no stranger to big budget film franchises having been a part of the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie and the rebirth of the Star Trek film series, but Avatar marks her first performance capture film.In Avatar, Saldana plays Neytiri, a fierce warrior who takes ex-Marine Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) under her wing and teaches him the ways of her people. Dileep Rao (last seen in Drag Me to Hell) takes on the role of one of the scientists involved in the avatar program on the planet Pandora. And yes, I know that if you're not at all familiar with the film that last sentence will make no sense.
