Vanilla Sky stars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz are reuniting for the action comedy Knight & Day (formerly referred to as The Untitled Wichita Project) currently filming in Massachusetts. 3:10 to Yuma helmer James Mangold co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Frank (writer/director of The Lookout) and is directing the film which will eventually work its way around the world, shooting in Austria, Spain, and the tropics.Knight & Day also features Peter Sarsgaard as a federal agent, Viola Davis as a CIA director, Paul Dano as an eccentric genius, and Olivier Martinez as an arms manufacturer. Marc Blucas and Maggie Grace also co-star.
20th Century Fox is aiming for a July 2, 2010 release of Knight & Day.
