Megan Fox is Invited Back for Transformers 3

Friday October 2, 2009
Surprise, surprise...well, not really. We all knew Transformers 3 was in the works. It's a cash cow, why not milk it once again? But what was sort of in question was whether director Michael Bay would ask back Megan Fox after she badmouthed him in the press following Transformers 2. The Bay vs Fox battle even prompted 'members' of Bay's crew to post a letter condemning Fox. Bay then posted an entry on his site saying he didn't condone the actions of his crew members or Fox's quotes, but he did go on to say he'd welcome her back for Transformers 3. "But her crazy quips are part of her crazy charm. The fact of the matter I still love working with her, and I know we still get along. I even expect more crazy quotes from her on Transformers 3."

On October 1st, Bay confirmed on his site that things are moving steadily forward on Transformers 3. Bay also said the official release date will be July 1st 2011 - not 2012 as he previously insisted. Bay's been meeting with the folks at ILM and is working with writer Ehren Krueger and Hasbro on new characters. And as far as Fox's involvement in the third Transformers movie, Bay had this to say on his official website:

"P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you."
