It was hot enough to cook a meatball on the red carpet at the September 12th LA premiere of Columbia Pictures / Sony Pictures Animation's Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Okay, so that's a wee bit of an exaggeration..but it was definitely hot enough to cause Jell-o to melt (there was a display right in front of me, and I watched it turn gushy). To match the high temperature, the voice cast of the family-friendly Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs were in high spirits as they made their way down the brightly decorated carpet, complete with over-sized dangling food and see-through umbrellas.

Anna Faris, Bill Hader, Bruce Campbell, the film's writer/directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and Bobb'e J Thompson took time to chat about the animated movie as they made their way down the packed carpet. And Mr T, who voices the town's cop, even talked briefly about The A-Team movie that's in the works. He won't be in it - nor will any of the principal players from the TV series - but he's not bitter about that. He's just happy for the career the TV series afforded him, and for the fact that no matter what becomes of the big screen version, he was the first B.A. Baracus.
