Julianne Hough Gets Footloose

Julianne Hough is going from Dancing with the Stars to dancing with Chace Crawford. The 20 year old singer/dancer and two-time winner of Dancing with the Stars has landed the lead role in the remake of Footloose. If scheduling issues can be worked out, Hough will play Crawford's love interest, Ariel Moore, in the musical - a part Miley Cyrus, Amanda Bynes and Hayden Panettiere were supposedly interested in playing.High School Musical's Kenny Ortega is directing the film from a screenplay by Susannah Grant (The Soloist). Production is expected to begin early next year with Paramount Pictures aiming for a June 2010 release.

What a joke. Was Paris Hilton not available? I guess that as long as you are beautiful, you don’t need any experience to have jobs just handed to you. Julianne dumped dancing because singing was her passion. Now I suppose acting is her passion and the country music fans that have supported her will be forgotten just like the previous dancing fans. Eventually all of these deceptions will catch up to Miss Hough and there is a long line of people that she used and stepped on that will be waiting.
