Jamie Campbell Bower Joins New Moon

20 year old British actor Jamie Campbell Bower played the young love interest and an unwitting accomplice of the infamous Demon Barber of Fleet Street in Sweeney Todd and a rocker in Guy Ritchie's RocknRolla. Now Bower's taken on a role with quite a bite in the second Twilight film, New Moon. Bower has joined the cast of New Moon as Caius, one of the most powerful vampires on the planet and a leader of the Volturi. Now, to readers of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga this info will mean something. To the rest of the world, not so much... Twilight fans know all about the Volturi, an elite group of Italian vampires charged with keeping the peace in the vampire community. Bower joins Dakota Fanning in playing one of the members of the powerful vampire clan.

Filming is currently underway on New Moon with Summit Entertainment aiming for a November 20th release for this highly anticipated teen vampire pic.
