Zack Snyder brought Frank Miller's 300 to life on the big screen in a totally faithful, almost panel for panel rendition of the graphic novel. Snyder's follow-up film is based on another graphic novel, one that was considered to be unfilmable. After the box office success of 300, Warner Bros Pictures hired Snyder to direct Watchmen, considered to be the greatest graphic novel ever written.Watchmen fans may not love the film (it's impossible to please everyone), but at least they can be assured Snyder acted in their best interest when he took on the job of directing the film.
