On June 13th Warner Bros Pictures invited members of the press to a special sneak preview of the musical fantasy, August Rush. The film stars Freddie Highmore, Keri Russell, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as well as Terrence Howard and Robin Williams. Box Office Report - June 15-17
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer had some critics falling back on the old, "Well, at least it was better than the first Fantastic Four," line of reasoning. Most then quickly added, "But that's not saying much." However comic book fans, men in love with Jessica Alba, and people just looking for something to do that required no brain power propelled FF2 to the top spot at the box office. The second Fantastic Four movie beat the first film's opening weekend take by a million or so, but with the new Die Hard movie, Evan Almighty, and the immensely charming animated family film, Ratatouille, on the way, chances are slim FF2 will hold onto the #1 spot for long.

Reno 911! Miami does a great job of capturing the tone of the TV series that spawned the movie. With the entire TV cast along for the ride, Reno 911!
