Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer Movie Review

I could choose any one of a number of words to sum up Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and fantastic wouldn’t be one of them. Campy makes more sense, as do mediocre, puerile and forgettable. Only two things save the film from being a complete disaster: Chris Evans and the Silver Surfer effects. Evans is the only member of the cast who injects any energy into the movie, and watching the Silver Surfer soar is pretty spectacular. Without these elements, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer would just be a whiny, woe-is-me gabfest occasionally broken up by a few action sequences. Nancy Drew Returns with Emma Roberts as the Teen Investigator
Emma Roberts, the star of the new Warner Bros Pictures Nancy Drew movie, comes from a showbiz family (her aunt’s Julia Roberts and her father’s Eric Roberts) yet the teen actress is very self-reliant when it comes to picking film roles and deciding on how to play different characters. She’d love to work with her aunt sometime in the future but for the most part, her famous relatives stay out of her career. “It’s mostly like kind of my manager and me and my mom, but I get to decide if I like something.
