Box Office Report - June 30-July 2
The Man of Steel didn't shatter records but Warner Bros has to be pretty satisfied with Superman Returns' $84 million score since opening on Wednesday, June 28th. That figure's ahead of what Batman Begins did but way behind Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds 4th of July opener. With Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest opening this week, chances are slim Superman Returns will retain the top position at the box office for more than just this week.Top 10 Films for the Weekend Ending 07/02/06:
