Meet the New Lois Lane - Kate Bosworth

Wednesday May 10, 2006
Kate Bosworth and Brandon Routh from Superman Returns were on hand at the Beverly Hills boutique, Kitson, last week to help celebrate the launch of the Superman Returns dolls, clothing, and accessories. But the event wasn't just a typical Hollywood party. The two Superman Returns stars were there to sign Superman and Lois Lane dolls, which will be auctioned off to benefit the Christopher Reeve Foundation.

Bosworth, back to blonde and looking fabulous, took time to talk about her role in Superman Returns before taking part in the exclusive event:

Kurt Russell Gets Physical in Poseidon
Action-adventure vet Kurt Russell stars as Robert Ramsey, a retired firefighter/politican who's forced into action onboard a doomed cruise ship in Warner Bros Pictures' Poseidon, directed by Wolfgang Petersen.

Talking about his Poseidon director, Russell praised Petersen's vision for the film. "Every shot, every setup, the way the movie is, the style of the movie – everything is Wolfgang's. Everything. I have collaborated with many, many directors on many, many movies. One of the reasons I looked forward to working with Wolfgang was the collaboration would be a very simple one. ‘What do you want me to do here? What is it you’re trying to do?’ We changed dialogue and stuff like that a lot. He was completely loose with that. But as far as what it was we were going to be doing and all that, we were just realizing Wolfgang’s vision." Read On...
