Ellen Page Talks About X-Men: The Last Stand

Ellen Page went from a starring role in the psychotic thriller Hard Candy to the sought after role of Kitty Pryde in the third film of the X-Men franchise, X-Men: The Last Stand. While doing the press rounds for Hard Candy, Page provided a little insight into how she got involved in X-Men: The Last Stand and the impact of being part of such a high profile project.     The Shrek franchise shows no signs of slowing down. The first Shrek brought in $42 million during its opening weekend. And while $42 million is nothing to sneeze at, Shrek 2 posted numbers that made the original film pale in comparison. The sequel more than doubled the first film’s opening weekend box office take, bringing in a phenomenal $108 million which meant greenlighting a third film was a real no-brainer.
