Interview with Paul Walker - "Running Scared" and "Eight Below"

Monday February 20, 2006
If you think you've seen all Paul Walker has to offer, think again. Playing a low-level mobster in "Running Scared," Walker gives a performance unlike anything he's done before. Walker's sexy and violent and his performance is amped up to a whole new level. (Photo © New Line Cinema)

Walker stars as Joey Gazelle a mobster who, in order to save his family, must track down his neighbor’s son and get back a gun that was used in a mob hit before it’s recovered by either the cops or his bosses.

It was pouring down rain and the red carpet was a soggy mess however that didn't dampen the spirits of the stars who showed up for the 2006 BAFTAs. The British Academy Film Awards are the Brits version of America's Academy Awards and celebs fly in from all over to be a part of the awards show. Among the guests at this year's event were nominees George Clooney, Ang Lee, Jake Gyllenhaal, Thandie Newton, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Of that group, all but Clooney collected trophies. Clooney went 0-for-4 and had to be satisfied with the 'it's an honor to be nominated' approach to the event. (Pictured: Ang Lee and Jake Gyllenhaal © Focus Features)
