"Superman Returns" - Brandon Routh and Bryan Singer Q&A

Comic book convention veteran Bryan Singer welcomed the star of "Superman Returns" onto the stage at the 2006 WonderCon in San Francisco where he was greeted with enthusiastic applause from comic book/Superman fans eager to hear from the new Man of Steel. (Pictured: Kate Bosworth and Brandon Routh © Warner Bros)The event marked Routh's first appearance at a major convention and you could tell from the way he struggled for answers that the whole thing was more than a little overwhelming. Luckily for the new Superman, he had Singer by his side to help get him past his nervousness.
Immediately following a question and answer period with the fans, Singer and Routh took part in a press conference and responded to questions from the media about the upcoming release of "Superman Returns:"

Exclusive Interview with the Writer/Director of "Saw 2"
Lions Gate released "Saw 2" on DVD on Valentine's Day, which might not seem like best timing for the release of one of 2005's best horror films. However "Saw 2" co-writer and director Darren Lynn Bousman loved the idea of having his film hit stores on that particular holiday. "What a great Valentines Day present! I'm one of these guys that never know what to buy my special someone. Well now I know what to buy them. I'm going to buy them my DVD," told me in an interview on Valentine's Day. Bousman was just coming off a visit to another movie set when he chatted with me by phone about the "Saw 2" DVD. "The Hills Have Eyes" Preview
The director of the first "The Hills Have Eyes" - horror meister Wes Craven - took the stage at WonderCon 2006 on Saturday February 11th to discuss the 2006 remake of his horror film. The enthusiastic crowd greeted the popular filmmaker warmly even though he wasn't there to promote a movie he directed, but rather as a producer of the new "The Hills Have Eyes" film. (Pictured: Aaron Stanford © Fox Searchlight)Craven took producer-only status and left the directing up to French director Alexandre Aja. Aja caught Craven’s attention with his 2005 "High Tension," an intense and gory horror/thriller Aja wrote and directed. Craven liked Aja's vision for a remake of "The Hills Have Eyes" and gave him his blessing, handing over the reins but opting to stay involved and lend his support in the role of producer.
