Interview with the Cast of "Stealth"

Sunday July 24, 2005
"Stealth" is director Rob Cohen's latest action adventure thriller. After tackling the world of street racing in "Fast and the Furious" and pitting Vin Diesel against a whole army of ruthless thugs in "XXX," Cohen ventures into the world of military fighter pilots in "Stealth," starring Jessica Biel, Jamie Foxx, and Josh Lucas.

Foxx, Biel and Lucas play three of the best fighter pilots in America, a solid trio who are part of an elite group of test pilots allowed to fly stealth fighter jets. When their commanding officer inserts a new wingman - a UCAV (Unmmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle) nicknamed EDI - into the team, it becomes an issue of man versus machine.

  • "The Island" Movie Review
Michael Bay's attitude is 'damn the critics' (he actually used a much harsher, none PG-rated expression). He's learned through much experience critics in general detest his work. Smart man.

Bay's "The Island" is actually two films with vastly different styles struggling for possession of the screen. The debate over the moral implications of cloning humans is addressed but then falls by the wayside as Bay decides to scrap the semi-intelligence of the first half of the film in lieu of cramming as many stunts and product placements into the second half of "The Island" as feasibly possible.
