Ashton Kutcher Discusses "A Lot Like Love"

Wednesday April 20, 2005
Hot on the heels of the Ashton Kutcher/Bernie Mac/Zoe Saldana romantic comedy, "Guess Who," comes "A Lot Like Love," another love story featuring Kutcher as a romantic leading man. In his new romantic romp, Kutcher and Amanda Peet star as a couple of strangers who meet, become friends, and who, over the course of seven years, develop a relationship that seems to be a lot like love (hence the movie's title). Here's what Kutcher has to say about love, success, and getting punk'd.

  • Amanda Peet on "A Lot Like Love"
"A Lot Like Love" is kind of like a reworked, updated version of "When Harry Met Sally," with Ashton Kutcher in place of Billy Chrystal and Amanda Peet substituting in for Meg Ryan. Like Chrystal and Ryan, Kutcher and Peet have good onscreen chemistry and similar to the pacing of "When Harry Met Sally," "A Lot Like Love" takes it slow and easy and really allows Peet and Kutcher to develop their characters. In this interview, "A Lot Like Love" star Amanda Peet tells what she liked about her character, working with Ashton Kutcher, and divulges her take on love at first sight:
